Ishwar's Virtual Home

Recently in my art course, we had a project which turned out to be very interesting. We learned about mosaics, a form of art which involves cutting glass and arranging then to form beautiful patterns.

This project requires us to use a large object, and transform it using carefully cut glass. When I was thinking of a project design, I believed that the best patterns, and the most flashy colours were ones, from a show I enjoy called Jojo’s Bizzare Adventures.

This art piece has two sides to it:

• One side is of a purple pattern and clear circle with wings around it, all found within a yellow background

• The other side is much simpler, with my attempt at purple engravings close to the edge, and a beautiful blue backdrop.

This art piece was very time consuming but it is very majestic when a candle is inside of it:

I was very happy with how it turned out and I hope I can make more projects like these!
